Founder of Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra of Bucharest, associate professor of the National University of Music Bucharest and former director of the Romanian Radio Orchestras, Horia Andreescu is currently Chief Conductor of the George Enescu Philharmonic in Bucharest.

His studies at the University of Music in Bucharest (composer and conductor with exceptional teachers) at the Music Academy in Vienna (with Hans Swarowski and Karl Österreicher) and courses with Sergiu Celibidache are a solid conducting of its becoming.
